First Post, Try Two
Posted on December 6th, 2004 No commentsIt’s time for me to put the computer away and read something non-digital. If someone were to ask me what I was reading right now, I could only tell them, nothing. Embarrasingly, I spend more time reading stranger’s blogs than I do reading a good, old fasioned book. There are so many books I want to read right now. Here’s a short list:
- Tender Warrior, by Stu Webber
- The Great Divorce, by C.S. Lewis
- The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, by Stephen R. Covey
There are also plenty of books I have started to read, but never finished.
- The Bible
- The Power of a Praying Husband, by Stormie Omaritan
- Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, by Robert M. Pirsig
- Moby Dick, by Herman Melville
I like lists. A good friend of mine, Liz Huges recently posted a pretty humorous list on her blog wich gave me the motivation to write these. Hers is much more entertaining.
Okay, now I’m really going to start reading something… Romans.
